President Trump is having a little difficulty with Congress. It turns out that the neoliberal, globalist elite do not want his wall and are not prepared to allocate even a billion dollars. No big surprise.
The corporations bought and paid for almost every seat in the House and the Senate. Congress, as even Al Gore admitted, cannot pass any law without their permission. And they want open borders. They want mass immigration. They want illegal immigration. And why wouldn't they? Mass immigration depresses the price of labour. It increases competition for jobs. It makes management control of labour easier. And illegal immigration does all this in spades.
And the costs of all this immigration? They are not borne by the corporations and certainly not by the rich and powerful and influential who own and control the corporations. The costs are borne by ordinary people. The costs are borne by the taxpayers - for the rich, paying taxes is voluntary. The costs are borne by poor neighbourhoods and communities, whose schools and health services are over-burdened, whose citizens are the victims of crimes, whose housing costs spiral out of reach.
The corporate elite are determined to substitute their policies for the will of the people. They all backed Clinton, precisely because she would implement their policies. The voters rejected their candidate and the policies. But the elite did not give up. They re-grouped and strategised. They have already forced Trump to adopt Hillary Clinton's foreign policy. They have managed to obstruct the repeal of Obama Care. They are now attempting to sabotage the Wall.
Trump promised to drain the swamp. The corporate elite are determined that shall not happen. They are determined to impose their policies.
