North Korean aggression

Watching CNN I have learnt that North Korea is aggressively moving its country next to US military forces. As a concerned, responsible news agency, CNN demanded that something be done about this aggression.

We have been left little choice, but to put a strike force off the coast. A nuclear DPRK is bad for everyone including the subjects of PyongYang, A nuclear Iran is more acceptable in my opinion.

I am wondering why anyone would defend CNN, a so called news agency that routinely presents jihadist propaganda as though it were genuine, disinterested, impartial news?

    2. stevehayes13

No, I am satirising their war-mongering. However, they were claiming that the US had to defend itself from North Korea’s aggression, threatening US military forces.

anything can be previewed as a threat, depending on if one wants to claim it so
aggression? well lets just wait until theyre actually being aggressive
nato and the warsaw pact would constantly hold exercises in view of the other…not aggression but rather a show of determination of will
        .
all this fucking sabre rattling…this is like NKs sixth test..
        now? its an issue ?
        what changed?

North Korea isn’t threatening. It is threatened and it has asserted its determination to resist any act of aggression against it, which is entirely congruent with international law.

            agreed
but its not just CNN forwarding this war propaganda
look on the internet and you’ll find almost everyones jumping on the bandwagon
            .
            history on this
The United Nations Security Council has adopted five major resolutions since 2006 that impose and strengthen sanctions on North Korea for continuing to develop its nuclear weapons program and call on Pyongyang to dismantle its nuclear program “in a complete, verifiable, and irreversible manner" and refrain from ballistic missile tests. The first two resolutions were passed shortly after North Korean nuclear tests in 2006 and 2009. The third came a month after North Korea successfully launched a satellite in December 2012. North Korea is prohibited from such launches under previous UN Security Council Resolutions because the technology in a satellite launch vehicle has potential dual use applications to ballistic missile development. The fourth was passed after North Korea’s nuclear test in February 2013. The most recent was adopted in March 2016 after a nuclear test and satellite launch early in the year. The resolutions since 2009 furnished UN member states with interdiction authority, calling upon states to inspect North Korean cargo within their territory, and subsequently seize and dispose of goods prohibited by UNSC Resolutions.
            .
All five resolutions were passed unanimously by the Security Council under Chapter VII, Article 41 of the United Nations Charter. While legally binding, states are prohibited from using force to carry out the obligations of the resolutions.
            .
that last line quite telling. As heres the turnip, stating the opposite
that america wont rule out the use of force to stop them
even though they agreed to the full wording of the resolutions

I have great confidence that China will properly deal with North Korea. If they are unable to do so, the U.S., with its allies, will! U.S.A.

I never said this criminal nonsense was exclusive to CNN. On the contrary, I have written numerous posts point to similar behaviour by many other corporate news agencies.

Yeah, so what? I spend two years on the DMZ starting at the north Koreans who periodically moved 200,000+ troops to the line just to upset the south and the US. As far as them moving troops (not the country!) next to a base which is impossible, everything above Seoul was and is pretty much expendable due to the size of any force that would move south across the DMZ. CNN is stirring up fear and working on their news rating.

I take interest in politics and international issues that’s why I know that there are clashes among United States of America and North Korea and because of this i can simply rushmyessay on this topic. Writer has also described the same thing in this article. We know that US is the superpower of the world but North Korea also showed aggression which shows that they are brave.
