Udo Ulfkotte's expose of how the CIA uses the corporate media to promote disinformation is being suppressed. The publishers of the English translation, Tayen Lane, have clearly sabotaged the book. It does not even appear on their website. Amazon lists the book as unavailble (one does not need to be a cynic to note that Jeff Bezos has a six hundred million dollar deal with the CIA). Used copies of the book are reportedly changing hands at over a thousand dollars.
When the book was originally published in German, despite being an immediate best seller, it was completely ignored by the corporate media. There were no book reviews, no publicity, no discussions.
The sabotage of the English translation by the publishers is a clear breech of contract. However, Tayen Lane, have little to fear as Udo conveniently died of a heart attack in January, after he had repeatedly stated that his life was in danger.
Udo's book, Journalists for hire: How the CIA buys the news, is perhaps one of the most important acts of whistleblowing in history. The CIA's strategic control of the corporate media renders democracy a sham. The book deserves the widest possible audience.
Shortly, after the original publication the book, Udo appeared on RT. You can view the interview here.
